PHP MySQL Developer / Web Developer

Salary: Competitive + bonus
Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 (40 Hours Per Week)
Location: Hartlepool (Cleveland, North East UK)

Leader Online Limited is a leading retailer, based in Hartlepool, with a retail showroom and a number of online eCommerce stores successfully trading a family of home and garden brands. The Leader group of companies were established in 1920 as a family run business, with its routes firmly in the timber trade. Since that time we’ve grown and diversified into a number of wholesale and retail sectors making us one of the fastest growing groups of companies in the North East.

Due to our continued growth we are looking for a talented PHP MySQL Developer to join our team. The role would be suited to an experienced developer or Graduate with a passion for developing eCommerce solutions.  You will have close liaison with the eCommerce Manager to develop modern dynamic eCommerce websites and other digital solutions.

Key responsibilities will include the development of modern dynamic eCommerce websites giving customers a seamless experience of purchasing goods, development of competitor analysis tools and EPOS integration. Development of website front end, experience of HTML/XHTML, CSS, Photoshop and W3C compliance and would an advantage.

We are looking for an enthusiastic developer with a minimum of one year’s commercial experience or a recognised qualification in this field.  You have at least 2 years PHP coding with MySQL, experience of Linux, Apache, HTML, CSS, and Javascript would be advantageous.
